How can I protect my unvaccinated child?
You want what’s best for your child, and that includes protecting them from harmful infections like COVID-19. The most important thing you can do for them is get vaccinated yourself. This reduces both your risk and your child’s risk of getting and spreading COVID-19.
You can also protect your child from COVID-19 in the following ways:
- If your child is 2 years and older, have them wear a mask in public settings. If it helps, you can also wear a mask to model healthy behavior.
- If your child is younger than 2 years or cannot wear a mask, limit visits with people who are not vaccinated or whose vaccination status is unknown. Your child should also keep their distance from other people in public.
