What is a semi-quantitative antibody test?

This test checks for antibodies to COVID-19. If you’ve been exposed to COVID-19 or vaccinated, your body produces antibodies as part of your immune response. If your semi-quantitative antibody test was normal (negative for antibodies), a value will not be provided. A value is only provided if the test results are positive (antibodies detected). If you have a positive antibody value, it should not be used to determine your level of immunity. Talk to your healthcare provider for additional guidance on how to interpret your test results.
