People with autoimmune conditions may receive an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine. However, there is the potential for reduced immune responses to the vaccine. People with weakened immune systems should continue following all current guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to protect themselves against COVID-19.
